Der 300 PS starke Motor des Spitzenmodells verspricht eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 250 km/h und eine Beschleunigung von 0 auf 100 km/h in 5,5 Sekunden. Der Treibstoffverbrauch des sparsamsten Modells liegt bei 4,1 Litern pro 100 Kilometer, die CO₂-Emission bei 109 g/km. Damit landet der Passat 105 PS, TDI, BlueMotion in der Energieeffizienzklasse A.
